TESTIMONIALS
Some kind words from friends:
I have worked with Peter Barnett on numerous occasions delivering Outdoor Education programs for young people from diverse backgrounds. Peter is a methodical, professional and intuitive leader and educator. His focus on safety and fulfilling group objectives are outstanding. Peter has a close affinity with indigenous students and community elders. He understands the needs of individuals and groups through challenge in the Outdoors. I would highly endorse Peter and all his Kimberley2Wayexchange tours and programs.
I saw a lot of the country in 7 days by car and plane as well as by foot. It never seemed rushed. The tour was flexible with options according to the groups interests. Peter challenges and has a vision for each person. The result is a very positive and exciting taste of the Kimberleys. I will be back.

Annie and I were privileged to be some of the first people to experience the Kimberley, with Peter Barnetts 2waytours in 2009. We had been driving a hire van from Darwin to Broome and stopped off at Kununurra. We decided to take a 4 wheel drive tour, just the 2 of us, with Petes company, and it turned out to be the highlight of our visit to the West. We got to see the not normally visited part of the Hidden Valley in Kununurra, lots of beautiful weathered rock formations, stunning Aboriginal art and also discovered a solitary Bradshaw painting
. what a find!
We visited the El Questro resort, had a wonderful view of the winding Pentecost river from Brancos Lookout, breakfast at Zebedee hot springs followed by a half day walk ending in a plunge pool. However, it was driving the Karunji Track, with Pete, which really brought the Kimberley to life, with spectacular views of the Cockburn escarpment, and ever changing scenery not seen from the main highway. Pete has an intimate knowledge of the area, a respectful awareness of Aboriginal custom and ritual, and is completely at home in the bush. You are in safe hands with this man and his Kimberley2waytour is an experience not to be missed.

Forcing myself to talk about my son and also to my son has made me realise how special he is. I can see that the Pathways program has given him a platform to start thinking about where he is going and where he is at in life. The program also was a great meditative experience."

"The program helped the dialogue between my father and me. It also taught me to look deep inside myself and realise who I am as a son and as an individual. It helped me to come to the realisation that life is precious and the special people around you won't always be there."
~ Daniel P, participated with his father Orlando, 2006
"Great program. Even though I appreciate the value of undertaking this experience right now, I am aware that the true value and experience of the Pathways To Manhood program will become more evident in the future. The dynamics of the group and the sharing of experiences between younger and older men was a highlight." (Pic: Group waving at

"This program helped me gain a deeper understanding of who my father is. I can see him now as a mate I can go to for help and comfort. Great to see the fathers and sons bond like that."

The Pathways to Manhood program was an enlightening experience for me and allowed me to get to know my father more than ever before. I would like to experience the same thing again but it would be hard to match the amount of things done on these few days.

This program closed many gaps I have with my father. We can now talk about more things than sport and girls. This program moved my father closer to me spiritually rather than the 300km away he is. I can feel I know my father better and we can now talk.

I would like to show my deep thanks to Peter and Mark for their thought and passion put into this program. Thank you to all that joined me on this program. Words cant express how this program has helped me and the entire group.
It was one of the best times I have had with my father. It was also a great learning experience.

Pathways to Manhood is a fantastic Program. I enjoyed the physical challenge of our bushwalk, the camaraderie of the other older and younger men and particularly valued the openness and honesty of the other participants as we shared our journey. I thoroughly endorse this program for any Father & Son who want to deepen their understanding of what it is to be a man, and to strengthen the bond between father and son. Its challenging, exhilarating and a lot of fun.
